Mimic [Blu-ray]

Mimic [Blu-ray] Overview

An ultracreepy blend of horror and fantasy (think of it as Beauty and the Bugs) from Mexican director Guillermo del Toro (Cronos) about giant cockroaches in the subway tunnels beneath Manhattan. Like its DNA-altered spawn (the title refers to the way some insects evolve to resemble their predators), Mimic is not your everyday bug picture, but a more poetic (though quite gruesome) sort of film, literally crawling with bizarre, striking images. In this case, the mutant bugs are not the result of evil atomic experiments (as in Them!), but are the unexpected side effect of work done by an entomologist (Mira Sorvino) and her Center for Disease Control officer husband (Jeremy Northam), who, in a last-ditch effort to control a roach-carried disease epidemic that was killing children, released a genetically altered form of sterile cockroaches beneath the city. They stopped the virus, but... Also starring Charles Dutton, Giancarlo Giannini, F. Murray Abraham, and Josh Brolin. --Jim Emerson

Batman: Gotham Knight was worth the bargain price I bought it. If you get about $ 15.99 then turns out to be a good deal. What you get is an original work of several directors and writers who shake lots of results that can impress or disappoint. The fact is that there is so much to see that the end is worth the time. Some scenes are much more boring than others, but the stories are very very good. Most of the shows in anime style with traditional artBatman scenerios. If you like the idea of Batman in a world of souls, then you will probably enjoy Batman: Gotham Knight.

What I liked: incarnations of Villains (Scarecrow was awesome), episode "Working through the pain" (favorite), entertainment for the most part are different takes on Batman costume, semi-continuity and Themes whole story. I also liked the special features. We had a lot of Batman villain of the story and comment. the original series episodes were funny.
I dislike: Maybe I'm not a die-hard anime fan, but the animation is sometimes boring. Ramirez Ramirez character was not linked with Nolan The Dark Knight, though he tried to do in this context. First episode was a little shock (at least my favorite episode). I felt like the choreography, more action is needed.

So all in all I liked. I see myself buying another animated Batman. I can also see how people do not like this "compilation"it is with the traditional separation of Batman. At least it is fresh and original, and demonstrates that the stories of Batman much more was said, it is.

Wall-E (Three-Disc Special Edition + Digital Copy and BD Live) [Blu-ray]

Wall-E (Three-Disc Special Edition + Digital Copy and BD Live) [Blu-ray] Feature

  • ISBN13: 0786936775433
  • Condition: NEW
  • Notes: Brand New from Publisher. No Remainder Mark.

Wall-E (Three-Disc Special Edition + Digital Copy and BD Live) [Blu-ray] Overview

The highly acclaimed director of Finding Nemo and the creative storytellers behind Cars and Ratatouille transport you to a galaxy not so far away for a new cosmic comedy adventure about a determined robot named Wall-E. After hundreds of lonely years of doing what he was built for, the curious and lovable Wall-E discovers a new purpose in life when he meets a sleek search robot named Eve. Join them and a hilarious cast of characters on a fantastic journey across the universe. Transport yourself to a fascinating new world with Disney-Pixar's latest adventure, now even more astonishing on DVD and loaded with bonus features, including the exclusive animated short film Burn-E. Wall-E is a film your family will want to enjoy over and over again.

Wall-E (Three-Disc Special Edition + Digital Copy and BD Live) [Blu-ray] Specifications

Pixar genius reigns in this funny romantic comedy, which stars a robot who says absolutely nothing for a full 25 minutes yet somehow completely transfixes and endears himself to the audience within the first few minutes of the film. As the last robot left on earth, Wall-E (voiced by Ben Burtt) is one small robot--with a big, big heart--who holds the future of earth and mankind squarely in the palm of his metal hand. He's outlasted all the "Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class" robots that were assigned some 700 years ago to clean up the environmental mess that man made of earth while man vacationed aboard the luxury spaceship Axiom. Wall-E has dutifully gone about his job compacting trash, the extreme solitude broken only by his pet cockroach, but he's developed some oddly human habits and ideas. When the Axiom sends its regularly scheduled robotic EVE probe (Elissa Knight) to earth, Wall-E is instantly smitten and proceeds to try to impress EVE with his collection of human memorabilia. EVE's directive compels her to bring Wall-E's newly collected plant sprout to the captain of the Axiom and Wall-E follows in hot pursuit. Suddenly, the human world is turned upside down and the Captain (Jeff Garlin) joins forces with Wall-E and a cast of other misfit robots to lead the now lethargic people back home to earth. Wall-E is a great family film with the most impressive aspect being the depth of emotion conveyed by a simple robot--a machine typically considered devoid of emotion, but made so absolutely touching by the magic of Pixar animation. Also well-worth admiring are the sweeping views from space, the creative yet disturbing vision of what strange luxuries a future space vacation might offer, and the innovative use of trash in a future cityscape. Underneath the slapstick comedy and touching love story is a poignant message about the folly of human greed and its potential effects on earth and the entire human race. Wall-E is preceded in theaters by the comical short Presto in which a magician's rabbit, unfed one too many times takes his revenge against the egotistical magician. This film is really two films. The first half of the movie has ruined our beloved Wall And on a planet trying desperately to clean up the planet. Then a spaceship and Wall E falls in love with a female robot. He becomes a stowaway aboard the ship, and ends in a world with many (very much) when a lazy, overweight people.

The first half of the film is amazing. It is told mainly by pictures, and dialogue is a small robot to talk. " As usual with Pixar, isamazing to look at. And you feel the vast and empty wasteland that Wall E is having to deal with. The addition of the female robot is sweet and touching. I was totally mesmerized during the first half. Unfortunately, the 2nd half of the film is preachy with its usual "humans are stupid and killing the planet" theme that's been done a lot and it's really done here in an obvious, ponderous, heavy handed way. We see a ship with humans who are indulging in overeating, no exercise, watching bad TV shows, etc., etc.. It 's a pretty obvious metaphor for people on the course. Is not completely ruin the film, but the 2nd half would be better. His "message" is so difficult to overcome the feeling, sometimes like you as a teacher. The animation is still great, but, but we expect from Pixar.

Wall E is yet to be seen for his phenomenal first half, and the astonishing visual througout the film.

Control (2007) [Blu-ray]

Control (2007) [Blu-ray] Overview

In his elegiac debut, Anton Corbijn combines the music film with the social drama to stunning success. Based on Deborah Curtis's clear-eyed biography, Touching from a Distance, Control recounts the wrenching tale of a working-class lad about to hit the highest highs only to be waylaid by the lowest lows. Born and raised in Macclesfield, a suburban community outside Manchester, Ian Curtis (newcomer Sam Riley in a remarkable performance) dreams of fronting a band. Just out of high school in the mid-1970s, he finds three like minds with whom he forms post-punk quartet Warsaw--better known as Joy Division (Riley and castmates ably recreate their somber sound). All the while, he falls in love, marries, and fathers a child with Deborah (Samantha Morton, turning a thankless role into a triumph). While Curtis should be enjoying parenthood and newfound fame, he's plagued by seizures. A diagnosis of epilepsy leads to powerful medications with unpredictable side effects. Then, while on tour, he falls in love with another woman. His solution to these problems is a matter of public record, but Corbijn concentrates on Curtis's life rather than his death. Just as Control establishes a link between such disparate black and white works as fellow photographer Bruce Weber's Let's Get Lost and kitchen-sink classics like The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner, the Dutch-born, UK-based director presents his subject not as some iconic T-shirt image, but as a deeply flawed--if massively talented--human being. --Kathleen C. Fennessy

Customer Reviews

You know the story. Ian Curtis, singer and songwriter of Joy Division, tragically ending her young life only as one of the most influential British bands post-punk of the late 70's began their meteoric rise to fame.

This film, has asked to be shot in black and white, and luckily Anton Corbijn has the good sense to do so. The camera, guests (if you call a "score" they want - especially songs by other artists such as Bowie, Lou Reed and Kraftwerk who influenced Curtis), andCasting are all top. Sam Riley is uncanny as Ian Curtis and Samantha Morton as Debbie Curtis and Alexandra Maria Lara as Annik Honore probably would cast even better. Tony Kebbel is a football, like Rob Gretton Clock.

How long does it know the film focuses mainly on the relationship between Curtis and his wife and his affair with Annik Honoré, okay. And there are enough musical material in most Joy Division fans, which, as I add content thrown, when more thanas realistic as you would expect from a movie. However, there are two or three parts of the film, which can be critical. The first is technical in nature, but is huge for me. It is a scene in the studio when the engineer Taping "isolation" is - Ian is laying down the vocal track added to the existing band. Why in God's name, after so much effort involved, as Riley Curtis Sound (which was in 90% of the films surprising success), that allow him to singIsolation in a way that does nothing sounds like Curtis? This scene completely mystifies me. Riley sounds like a choir boy sick, so I expect the coach to say: "Ian, what's wrong ?"... but at the end of the song, he says, in effect, "great job, that's a wrap. Sorry, no. The vocal track is not even close to reality. The second problem is with the ending. Corbijn probably lay nearby, Ian took his life, mainly because of his anxiety to relationship problems, his love forAnnik and guilt for what he did his wife. This is of course entirely possible, and no one will ever know the truth, but who knows the history, music, text, environment seems epilepsy .... this implication a little 'too simple (although to be honest, since the film on the book by Debbie Curtis' "Touching From a Distance" was based, perhaps Corbijn tries to stay true to what she had written, and I have not read the book). Also made it seem CorbijnCurtis's suicide was almost a last minute or as a "last hour" decision. Once again .... maybe. But it rang true, but my sense of what was appropriate. Results may vary. Finally, I was disappointed there was no reference to the album "Closer, even though we hear tracks from it. Strange, to say the least.

Definitely a movie to see, but for the real fan of Joy Division, Grant Gee use the documentation. Superb.

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen [Blu-ray]

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen [Blu-ray] Overview

A hunter, a scientist, a vampire, an invisible man, an immortal, a spy, a beast...when a masked madman known as "The Fantom" threatens to launch global Armageddon, legendary adventurer Allan Quatermain (Sean Connery) commands a legion of superheroes, the likes of which mankind has never seen.

Now, despite fighting their own personal demons - and each other - they mush join forces to save the world. Sean Connery leads a stellar cast in this breathtaking, "thrill-a-minute" (Jeffrey Lyons, NBC-TV) extravaganza loaded with "eye-popping effects and amazing action!" (Bill Bregoli, Westwood One)

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen [Blu-ray] Specifications

The heroes of 1899 are brought to life with the help of some expensive special effects in The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. From the pages of Victorian literature come Captain Nemo, Dr. Jekyll (and his alter ego Mr. Hyde), Dorian Gray, Tom Sawyer, an Invisible Man, Mina Harker (from Dracula), and the hunter Allan Quatermain (Sean Connery), all brought together to combat an evil megalomaniac out to conquer the world. Hardly an original plot, but perhaps that's fitting for a movie sewn together like Frankenstein's monster. The movie rushes from one frenetic battle to another, replacing sense with spectacle--Nemo's submarine rising from the water, a warehouse full of zeppelins bursting into flame, Venice collapsing into its own canals; flashy, dumb, and completely incoherent. Fans of the original comic book will be disappointed. Also featuring Peta Wilson, Shane West, Stuart Townsend, Richard Roxburgh, and Jason Flemyng. --Bret Fetzer

I was a voracious reader, well beyond my age and I was eager for adventure ... and I still am. I want to be entertained and this film captures my imagination. I like more every time I see him. I wish they would release three packs in a semblance of order. I mean, who wants to play board like this?

But From Russia with Love and your eyes are two of my favorites, so what.

The 1080p discs ROCK! They are made of a restoration 4K Lowry. Each frame of the movie is 4000P. I had Beta, VHS, DVD and two copies of the Bond flicks, and I'm a nerd with few social skills.

This wipes the floor with them. It lies mainly withFRWL as I think it was a print from Eastman, who is not the same Technicolor, it vanishes easily. The elements are completely restored. The color balance is fine. The details are amazing. There is no point in reviewing the film. With For Your Eyes Only, the difference is not clear how this is a most recent film. But FRWL and T'ball is apples and oranges from previous editions.

Oh, it's almost impossible to navigate the menu, in the vicinity. Many euphemisms. Thoughare some interesting documentaries on it. If only to see what Bond was a phenomenon in 1960.

Goodfellas (20th Anniversary Edition) [Blu-ray] Overview

Studio: Warner Home Video Release Date: 02/16/2010 Run time: 146 minutes Rating: Pg13

Goodfellas (20th Anniversary Edition) [Blu-ray] Specifications

Martin Scorsese's 1990 masterpiece GoodFellas immortalizes the hilarious, horrifying life of actual gangster Henry Hill (Ray Liotta), from his teen years on the streets of New York to his anonymous exile under the Witness Protection Program. The director's kinetic style is perfect for recounting Hill's ruthless rise to power in the 1950s as well as his drugged-out fall in the late 1970s; in fact, no one has ever rendered the mental dislocation of cocaine better than Scorsese. Scorsese uses period music perfectly, not just to summon a particular time but to set a precise mood. GoodFellas is at least as good as The Godfather without being in the least derivative of it. Joe Pesci's psycho improvisation of Mobster Tommy DeVito ignited Pesci as a star, Lorraine Bracco scores the performance of her life as the love of Hill's life, and every supporting role, from Paul Sorvino to Robert De Niro, is a miracle.

Customer Reviews

I am not "in" Movies now for too long, only a few years. But since I just started film Scorsese was my favorite. When I do a movie if I was better than Goodfellas is the only thing I can say is The Aviator, Scorsese would choose a different picture. I can not tell you what this movie before watching it. You get so drawn into the world will seem to know more bands anyone. It 's a funny film with great replayValue, especially on Blu-ray. The picture seems to slow down a bit '(in 1990 for a film) and add much to the film. Highly recommended!

AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON / (MCSH WS DUB SPEC) - AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON / (MCSH WS DUB SPEC)

AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON / (MCSH WS DUB SPEC) - AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON / (MCSH WS DUB SPEC) Overview

Remember back in the early 1980s when special-effects makeup artists were tripping over themselves to create the next big effect? The Howling boasted a fantastic werewolf transformation scene courtesy of makeup wizard Rob Bottin. Then along came Bottin's mentor, Rick Baker, with his own spectacular effects in this popular horror comedy directed by John Landis. An American Werewolf in London is more of a makeup showcase than a truly satisfying movie, but the film is effectively moody when David Naughton discovers that a wolf attack has turned him into a bloodthirsty lycanthrope. Jenny Agutter plays his love interest (watch out, he bites!), and who can forget Griffin Dunne as Naughton's best friend, an undead corpse who progressively rots away as the plot unfolds? All things considered, it's easy to see why An American Werewolf in London became a modern horror favorite. --Jeff Shannon

Customer Reviews

In American Werewolf in London (1981), writer / director John Landis tips his hat respectfully to Lon Chaney Jr. werewolf than the classic 40 years ago, then sent the picture, both stylistically and cinematically. The special effects alone, which is a world beyond the clumsy film are used to convert from an upright man hairy Chaney overlap of the upright. At full moon, Landis lamented the unfortunate bite, scream, kick, emitting guttural sounds and writhing in nakedTerror hands and feet as long legs, which extends from a face to face, body hair thickened to coat, and the newborn loses all abilities scattered biped.

We are witnesses to this terrifying metamorphosis details once, and this is more than enough. Often the monster stalking is shown looking through a camera in his opinion, as effective as we near the prey of execution. There is no blood, but is not free and is used only when necessary. A new element is thatare killed by a werewolf condemned to wander the earth as the undead until the last of the creatures or commits suicide or is destroyed, what is best for someone who loves people, below the Wolf.

In short, the load, despite the recent CGI version, done well by the dramatic, the work amusing and frightening, but the werewolf be seen. Highly recommended!

The Departed [Blu-ray]

The Departed [Blu-ray] Overview

Studio: Warner Home Video Release Date: 02/02/2010 Run time: 116 minutes Rating: G

The Departed [Blu-ray] Specifications

Martin Scorsese makes a welcome return to the mean streets (of Boston, in this case) with The Departed, hailed by many as Scorsese's best film since Casino. Since this crackling crime thriller is essentially a Scorsese-stamped remake of the acclaimed 2002 Hong Kong thriller Infernal Affairs, the film was intensely scrutinized by devoted critics and cinephiles, and while Scorsese's intense filmmaking and all-star cast deserve ample acclaim, The Departed is also worthy of serious re-assessment, especially with regard to what some attentive viewers described as sloppy craftsmanship (!), notably in terms of mismatched shots and jagged continuity. But no matter where you fall on the Scorsese appreciation scale, there's no denying that The Departed is a signature piece of work from one of America's finest directors, designed for maximum impact with a breathtaking series of twists, turns, and violent surprises. It's an intricate cat-and-mouse game, but this time the cat and mouse are both moles: Colin Sullivan (Matt Damon) is an ambitious cop on the rise, planted in the Boston police force by criminal kingpin Frank Costello (Jack Nicholson). Billy Costigan (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a hot-tempered police cadet who's been artificially disgraced and then planted into Costello's crime operation as a seemingly trustworthy soldier. As the multilayered plot unfolds (courtesy of a scorching adaptation by Kingdom of Heaven screenwriter William Monahan), Costigan and Sullivan conduct a volatile search for each other (they're essentially looking for "themselves") while simultaneously wooing the psychiatrist (Vera Farmiga) assigned to treat their crime-driven anxieties.

Such convenient coincidences might sink a lesser film, but The Departed is so electrifying that you barely notice the plot-holes. And while Nicholson's profane swagger is too much "Jack" and not enough "Costello," he's still a joy to watch, especially in a film that's additionally energized by memorable (and frequently hilarious) supporting roles for Alec Baldwin, Mark Wahlberg, and a host of other big-name performers. The Departed also makes clever and plot-dependent use of cell-phones, to the extent that it couldn't exist without them. Powered by Scorsese's trademark use of well-chosen soundtrack songs (from vintage rock to Puccini's operas), The Departed may not be perfect, but it's one helluva ride for moviegoers, proving popular enough to become the biggest box-office hit of Scorsese's commercially rocky career. --Jeff Shannon

Customer Reviews

They are often a bit 'behind the curve. It's no different with this film just seen, is not this weekend on HD-DVD for less.

I'd say Goodfellas has always been my big favorite. Then I saw the casino again I would describe as horribly fantastic.

Suffice it to say, I can not exactly explain my passion for film Scorsese to say except that capture the human depravity in a unique and impressive. I do not know if our intuitions Scorsesecarnal existence of huge mistakes come to him by chance, or is somehow unique in view of the situation in the baseness of the human psyche. But no matter, this genius at work movie rival Shakespeare's greatest tragedies in nakedness, and complexity.

With all that said Departed is another great film. Great quality by a series of great actors, excellent photography and the environment, stimulation and smooth. High voltage and set aside the action breath the whole way. Aabsolute classic. Highly recommended.

Training Day [Blu-ray] Specifications

A powerhouse performance by Denzel Washington fuels this brutal urban police drama, in which a rookie narcotics cop learns the hard way that even good cops can go very, very bad. Washington plays veteran detective Alonzo Harris, a self-proclaimed "wolf among wolves," eager to teach his rookie partner Jake (Ethan Hawke) that normal rules don't apply on the mean streets of Los Angeles. Caught in a web of deception, Jake watches with escalating horror as Alonzo uses his badge (and the support of his superiors) to justify a self-righteous policy of corruption. In stark contrast to most of his previous work, Denzel unleashes his dark side with fearlessness and fury, and the result is excellence without compromise. Director Antoine Fuqua (The Replacement Killers) won't score any points for subtlety, but gritty details (including actual L.A. gang members as extras) and Hawke's finely tuned performance are perfectly matched to Washington's frightening volatility. --Jeff Shannon

Denzel Washington, one of my favorite actors, won his second Oscar, this time for Best Actor, plays a ruthless, evil, insane police officers on the streets of Los Angeles. The DVD set comes with audio commentary, an HBO behind the scenes of the film, 2 music videos, alternate ending, and more. The DVD single layer. I have a fixed rule, not more than $ 23 per Blu-ray (no need to encourage Hollywood marketeers pay). I mean, I broke that rule for this film after hearing an interview with the author and producer of NPR (National Public Radio), then discovered that this album is worth every penny. One thing that can be reached on, is that there are many similarities between life in 1859 and today. For example, people from both periods between theism, deism were divided, and atheism.(Contrary to popular belief, it was somewhere between Darwin and theist deist). So "means Darwin's theory to do away with God", as Huxley said, or "the story of Genesis pragmatic replace with something more"? I prefer to believe that later, but you should have your opinion.

Paranormal Activity (2-Disc Digital Copy Edition) [Blu-ray]

Paranormal Activity (2-Disc Digital Copy Edition) [Blu-ray] Overview

This intense edge-of-your seat horror film follows a young suburban couple who record the sinister disturbances in their home while they sleep– even as the domestic haunting becomes more frequent, more threatening and all too personal. Hypnotic and harrowing, Paranormal Activity uniquely delivers frightful suspense punctuated by moments of sudden and unexpected terror, all the way to the shocking ending.

Featuring a version not shown in theaters with an exclusive alternate ending, Paranormal Activity is the one supernatural thriller Blu-ray to own that plays on your most primal fears, and guarantees you’ll need to sleep with the lights on.

Paranormal Activity (2-Disc Digital Copy Edition) [Blu-ray] Specifications

Like The Blair Witch Project, Paranormal Activity is an impressive and harrowing indie chiller that derives much of its terror--and there is quite a bit of that in its brief running time--by playing on the most basic of human fears: that which cannot be seen. Though one might assume that the point-of-view aesthetic had been worn out thanks to Cloverfield and Quarantine (and, lest one forgets, Blair Witch), Paranormal makes excellent use of the single-camera technique, which helps to not only preserve the film's central conceit--a new-minted couple records the increasingly threatening supernatural phenomena that have invaded their home on a camcorder--but underscore the realism needed to drive home the low-fi (if completely persuasive) special effects. The approach is also crucial to the film's suspense, which unfolds in long, largely broken takes to nerve-rattling effect. Not every horror fan--or moviegoer--will fall for the film's spook-show approach. Those that found Blair Witch's less-is-more approach aggravating will feel the same way about Paranormal, but the sleight of hand exhibited by first-time director Oren Peli, and assisted by his two leads, relative newcomers Katie Featherston and Micah Sloat, should provide adventurous viewers with fresher and stronger scares than anything from Hollywood in recent years. --Paul Gaita

Customer Reviews

A young couple, Katie and Micah have experienced strange events in their homeland, but accidents - dents in the night sounds of votes whipered, taps appear to be off and on - are nothing compared to the escalating supernatural events that come Micah is ahead to try and document the phenomena. Buy a camera and a load of films to register events, day and night and see what is really happening at home when they sleep.

In BlairWitch-style, the whole film is seen as a collection of what the camera captured. Paranormal Activity comes off feeling very real - the actors are very natural, not once did anyone look and act the effects of distance, such as special effects. The characterization is deep and is a sign that the whole scenario seems to make plausible host.

Of the two, and Katie does not think that the idea of openness is very intelligent and Katie's Whosupernatural experience everything first-hand on Micah (although both feel, bumps and creaks in the night - Could be anything - she is, who hears the whispers) and she is the One who lived through those before it, as regularly visited, or visited, apparently from the same place in different parts of his childhood. It starts, continues for some time, then disappears for years at a time. And if it is followed from place to place, so the activity is obviouslycentered on them and not on a particular house or place. With Micah, we have one of those rare cases where telling the stories of fairy tales seems a lot about a character, the character himself seems to ignore. Micah loves and tries to help Katie, but I think in the initial phase of his state of mind - if not deliberately - can type "this did not happen. We think it's a rational explanation or not, but in the end we just laugh about. But youI would not be kind of cool when it really? "I do not think in the early days of his experiments with the inclusion of events that is always able to really feel this is" The Haunting "thinking as a threat, so he doesn 't that put himself in danger or Katie, whether the acts that he had been warned that it is unwise to what could cause the company and all the worse.

Things go from bad to worse, and it is increasingly difficult to imagine a "rational"Explanation for the increase in activity. Katie strong concerns from the outset and their tendency, should only go to prove this, but to understand it, perhaps show an intuitive sense of how dangerous the company really is, or perhaps show that they are seen as most do for previous incidents of the business you see. You do not think you can 'defeat' of this nature, and thinks that the best thing they can do, ignore it and it iswhat is always before, when ignored fact: go to the end. Micah is obsessed with understanding, and by the time that must admit That threat is very real, can not go outside. He seems to believe that he may be arrested when Katie is on the ground (even if they want to), or think that perhaps it would be less masculine if he admitted he was on the wrong track. Again he sees not think necessarily aware of these things, and can also go to Katie, butThis is the interpretation I have of their motivations. And so, as things get worse, the recorder continues to try to Micah continues to capture evidence on film, alternately Trying to communicate with the company or trying to find ways to direct combat. All this seems simple to bring you closer to nature and our world, and leads to a series of increasingly appalling events and a final shock.

Some find the film too slowly. Personally, I amliked the pace, I liked how the first third of the film, most of what you see, to grab the camera is just simple a thing. He makes it real, lets you know the characters and makes it stronger, if the progress of events not only sounds the occasional bizarre unexplained events. I think it was executed very well and is one of the best films of its kind also recommend: [Rec], Cloverfield and The Blair Witch Project.

Customer Reviews

Honestly I do not remember how I stumbled on "save" a few years ago, but I may have such low expectations for this low-budget horror film and that helped me love him. This is not a gold mine for Hollywood effects chock full of incredibly beautiful stars say the same stupid lines all previous Gore-Fest. This is a small budget with a cast shot unknown shot in a few places on the sad, cloudy days. No guns, no car chases, not too cool "Yippie-kai-ay, motherf *** ker"Lines. This is not a "passed 14. This is a beautiful girl next door and a homicidal maniac, and their attempt to stop reliving a personal hell. But you for giving decision makers a little room for amateurisms few that appear here and go there. This situation of the girl and several attempts to do to stop the horror, not the seller of posters and T-shirts. If you give a leeway, and you invest in their situation, you will be rewarded with a killerThe surprise for you to cheer for small films with big ideas. Worst case, there is always "Transformers 2" to clear the mental palette later.
